The future of Kiwi
Dear YourHead Support,
In a public Kiwi-related topic in this forum I read that you are considering the future of Kiwi to be uncertain: "the future of Kiwi is uncertain because Twitter has requested that developers stop developing clients like Kiwi."
I love using Kiwi. Its simple yet elegant interface offers the best possible OS X Twitter experience for me. On the iOS platform, I love using Osfoora for identical reasons.
I was wondering and hoping, that if you decide to stop Kiwi development, you might release the current (or later) beta-build as a new (and possibly final) official Kiwi version. The beta has some very strong improvements/fixes that many users would love to have as well. I love using my purchased version of Kiwi, and would love it to get at least one more official update.
Hopefully you guys will be able to continue development. As far as I understand the situation, the "official Twitter powers that be" are rather unforgiving and unfair to the client developers out there. I am a professional developer myself, and independent developers suffering from these 'higher powers' aches me much. I know how it feels, unfortunately. I wish Kiwi wouldn't suffer because of it.
Kind regards, and keep up the good work,
Rob

Just wondering what YourHead's thoughts are on this... Will YourHead make available an official Kiwi update soon? It has been a while since the beta has been going around, and I believe many users would benefit from such an official update.

Hi,
Sorry for not responding to this one. It slipped under my radar for a while.
We've blogged about the future of Kiwi here:

That's probably the most comprehensive discussion of where Kiwi is heading and why.
