hi, isaiah,

I’m roger, I’m building a site for my wife’s Harp biz:
www.harpsingerbobbiejo.com

Within the last few weeks I researched web building software to run on my Mac & found RW. Then your stacks, blocks and the full package. Throw in rPlayer with streaming audio, large graphics & a cartloom plug-in…

We’ll all was going fine until I just learned about size limitations with RW; I suppose this is a universal obstacle on both Mac & PC platforms due to the 32bit processing limitation I’ve just been made aware of.

Will RW & the 3rd parties plan on a 64 bit application in the near future & would that solve these site size limitations?

RW tech support gave me your link:
How to split a large RW site.

I’ve read it thru & makes sense to me,
Make a few copies of my RW site & name them, like say for now…
Main page,
Music selling page,
Harp Selling page

Open up each identical page (except for the name)
Deleting the pages that will remain on the other pages…
Do the ‘top site’ last.
Create ‘off site’ pages to re-link to the deleted pages as needed…

The big question is:
When I publish the sites, each of course separately & one at a time,

Would I publish the new ‘top page’ 1st, then the other sub sites…?
I assume from this process the end result is that each different page ADDs it’s pages TO the ‘top page’ without deleting the top page’s unique content?
(& the same for the other sub pages & future sub pages ?)

I was concerned that the publishing process would post the new sub site & wipe out the the previous version.

Thanks for the clever work around to size limits & I look forward to your reply.
Roger

    Hi Roger,

Thanks for the message. Please don't get too confused, I do some work part time for Yourhead on support too!

Publishing wise, I would Publish the project containing the real Home page last.

You shouldn't have any duplicate full pages hopefully, with only the Offsite Pages in other projects, nothing should get overwritten.

Hopefully the other points I made in the Realmac support will help for the other points.

    With best regards,
    Karn @ Yourhead Support.
