Stacks2 images disappearing

I working with actual versions for all of my soft. All images in my project pages with stacks 2 was missing and some image areas unable to reach. Only way to fix it is to do all work from very beginning. This bug repeating a few times. Can't understand the reason. It may be a "Total republishing" or something else... Can't solve it. All similar themes now closed without advices. Thanks.

I had the same problem the second time. After I rebuilt all imgages, I opened RW several times without problems. Today I lost a lot of images on some pages. In this way it´s impossible to work with stack. I use version 2.0.4
We need Your help urgent.

Most closed threads are closed as we had two from the users concerned, but required private data from users so there can be active threads that are private. Thomas - adding yourself in here does make that somewhat tricky.
We are hoping to have an update out which should help in this (current by the way is 2.0.6) in the next week or two. It has taken longer than we wanted because none of us that work here or a Realmac have seen this first hand. When we can have it happening locally, solving it becomes really hard indeed.
Isaiah (the main developer) has been working with a couple of users who are running a developer version which crashes more often but saves more data about what's happening and this has helped.
Once images have been lost, then going back to a Time Machine backup is the best bet. You can copy pages from one project to another using drag and drop from one list on the left to the other, so you can copy work from one to another quite often rather than starting again from the old version and re-making all the work.
I would suggest looking into recovering backups, and any work that can be put off until the update is released, do so to avoid work duplication.
One thing worth mentioning is working with RapidWeaver projects while they are on cloud syncing services like Dropbox or Memopal is risky and known to increase the chances of file corruption. This usually wouldn't lose loads of images though, it would stop the whole file opening more commonly.
Really sorry I don't have a permanent solution right now, but this has been taking up all the time we have recently in attempts to fix it.

While it will not bring back missing images, we believe that the problem has been fixed for users going forward.
